Plastic into plants!
Coles is calling all shoppers to turn
their plastic bags into plants and raise money for Junior Landcare.
For each plastic shopping bag* returned to Coles throughout September, we will be
donating money towards the Junior Landcare School Garden Grant program — a nationwide
initiative that allows schools, kindergartens and community groups to develop environmental
projects such as waterefficient gardens.
The theme of this year's Landcare Week is 'celebrating Landcare heroes across the
country' to highlight the many individuals who make an environmental difference

This Landcare Week and throughout September, head to Coles to turn your plastic
bags* into plants — just look for the green bins instore. You will be helping Junior
Landcare save Australia's environment, one school at a time.
